This is a small, easy gorge to pass through, with no special requirements in skill or equipment.
It begins at a large flat area south of the settlement of Messa Apidi and reaches the northern entrance to the gorge of Goudouras, which is essentially its continuation, 2,5 kilometres to the south. The elevation difference between the entrance and the outlet is approximately 400 metres.
