Within the framework of the JoInOuT project, the ΚΤΕΛ HERAKLION - LASSITHI S.A., in collaboration with the Foundation for Technology and Research, created a platform for showcasing businesses of the epaithros network along road routes. The platform's goal is to enhance the quality of information for passengers and the network of partners with stakeholders in the countryside of Crete.

The AMI Promote digital signage platform is a multimedia content playback system that offers digital signage capabilities to the passenger audience of the ΚΤΕΛ HERAKLION - LASSITHI, aiming to inform them about local products, local businesses, and other points of interest around culture, gastronomy, etc.

It consists of 2 main components: the AMI Promote Players machines responsible for the playback of audiovisual material, and the AMI Promote CMS, the content management system through which administrators determine the flow of advertisements and updates displayed on the screens.

The project entitled "Partnership of Innovative Rural Tourism Actions" and distinctive title: "JoInOuT", is implemented within the framework of the Action "Cooperative Innovation Formations/SCC" - 2nd Call: Businesses" and is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by National Resources in the context of the Operational Program "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)" of the NSRF 2014-2020" (Project code: ΓΓ2CL-0359457).
