e-paithros & JoInOuT participated in the 1st Festival of Alternative Tourism and Experiences “260 kmemories” which was held with great success in Chania, on May 12-14.
The Festival of Alternative Tourism and Experiences, which was organized by the Municipality of Chania, was supported by Professionals, Agencies and Associations of Crete active in Alternative Tourism and Experience Tourism, while through a large exhibition in Katehaki Square, the services that they offer became known to the public.
The Festival included a workshop for professionals, the presentation of the new Astronomical Path, the walking routes of the Municipality of Chania and the UNESCO monuments, as well as a forum, with the aim of highlighting the possibilities that exist in the development of alternative tourism.
At the same time, as part of the festival, the participating professionals offered free alternative activities to the visitors. The activities offered by e-paithros and JoInOuT were the following:
- Try scuba – Test Dive (Eco diving center)
- Sailing boat ride (Altersail)
- Carob mill Tour(Cultural Society of Panormo “Epimenides”)
- Tour, Wine Tasting & Olive Tasting at Anoskeli Winery (Anoskeli Winery – member of the Crete Winemakers Network)
Visitors to the e-paithros & JoInOuT booth were informed about the actions and services offered by the cluster, as well as the expected results of JoInOuT, while they had the opportunity to try cretan spirits from Byraki Flavor.
The project entitled "Partnership of Innovative Rural Tourism Actions" and distinctive title: "JoInOuT", is implemented within the framework of the Action "Cooperative Innovation Formations/SCC" - 2nd Call: Businesses" and is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by National Resources in the context of the Operational Program "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)" of the NSRF 2014-2020" (Project code: ΓΓ2CL-0359457).
