e-paithros & το JoInOuT participated in the workshop on “Protected Areas and Green Entrepreneurship” organized by the Natural Environment & Climate Change Agency and the Management Unit of Samaria National Park and Protected Areas of Western Crete, in Chania, on Friday 15 September 2023.

The aim of the workshop was to present the framework and actions for the development of Green Entrepreneurship in the protected areas of Greece and Crete in particular, as they constitute a dynamic challenge.

During the workshop, successful examples of green entrepreneurship were presented and the importance of ecotourism and organic products in a broader context of sustainability and the protection of the natural environment, in particular, was highlighted.

The project entitled "Partnership of Innovative Rural Tourism Actions" and distinctive title: "JoInOuT", is implemented within the framework of the Action "Cooperative Innovation Formations/SCC" - 2nd Call: Businesses" and is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by National Resources in the context of the Operational Program "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)" of the NSRF 2014-2020" (Project code: ΓΓ2CL-0359457).
