JoInOuT and the Rural Tourism Network epaithros were present at the Innovation Days “Innodays 2023 – Crete of knowledge and production”, organized for the second consecutive year by the Region of Crete, from 24 to 26 November, at the International Exhibition Centre of Crete in Heraklion.
The epaithros & JoInOuT booth attracted the interest of numerous visitors as well as representatives of the state and local government, who were guided and informed about the pioneering for Greek standards Rural Tourism Network and the results of the innovative JoInOuT project.
On the opening day of InnoDays, the Regional Governor of Crete, Mr. Stavros Arnaoutakis, visited the Epaithros – JoINOuT stand and was informed about the innovative actions in Rural Tourism, while special interest was shown by the Deputy Minister of Research & Development, Mr. Maximos Senetakis and the Member of Parliament of Heraklion, Mr. Konstantinos Kefalogiannis.
Moreover, in the framework of the parallel events of the three-day event, the Rural Tourism Network epaithros & JoInOuT presented the results of the pioneering and innovative initiative in the sector of Rural Tourism and entrepreneurship in general.
The project entitled "Joint Innovative Activities for Outdoor Tourism" and distinctive title: "JoInOuT", is implemented within the framework of the Action "Cooperative Innovation Formations/SCC" - 2nd Call: Businesses" and is financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and by National Resources in the context of the Operational Program "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation (EPANEK)" of the NSRF 2014-2020" (Project code: ΓΓ2CL-0359457).
