The beach of Agia Marina is located 47 km southwest of Rethymnon and 84 km south of Chania, and 2 km south of the village of Rodakino, in the southern coast of Rethymno prefecture. A church to the east of the beach gives it its name.
With shallow and clear water, as well as interleaving patches of sand, pebbles and rocks, it is an ideal location for fishing.
Because it is very quiet and has enough trees to provide necessary shade to visitors, the beach offers opportunities for unsupervised camping.
Close by is the beach Peristeres (Doves).
