Galini Beach
By the small settlement and the beach are on every side numerous small coves with pebbles: one is larger, with the same sorts of pebbles and plenty of rocks in the crystal-clear water.
The beach is secluded, tucked well into the tall cliffs and rocks that hide it from the common gaze .. and so make it a desired destination for all those in search of solitude and relaxation, and for the nudists too.
Continuing the tour through these beaches east of Ierapetra, the next up is Achlia.
Achlia Beach
A lovely, quiet and sheltered spot, it enjoys the usual calm crystal-clear blue-green waters and sand; all around much greenery flourishes.
It is an organized beach, with plentiful umbrellas, sunbeds and opportunities for water-sports. On the beachfront are enough rent-rooms and tavernas.
The next beach to the east, a little before the area of Makrigialos, is that of Mavros Kolymbos.
