Along the coastline north and west of Kasteli Kisamou up to the settlement of Kalyviani, you will meet with some small and deserted coves, but also a splendid rocky beach with clear blue water – ideal for a moment’s relaxation and for camping too.
The deep water and rocky sea-bed make it a fitting choice for diving and spear-fishing. If you visit, beware – the beach abounds in rocks! You can also reach it by boat, from Kasteli Kisamou.
On the north and west part of Cape Gramvousa, across from the lagoon of Balos are the two small islands of ‘Tame’ and ‘Wild’ Gramvousa.
