A beach with crystal-clear, deep water, coarse sand and plenty of flat and smooth rocks on the sea bed: be wary of these last as they are often highly slippery underfoot! Tamarisks grow wild all about, with their welcome shade. The beach itself is developed: you will find sufficient umbrellas, sunbeds and showers. Further it is suitable for water-sports and has courts for beach volley-ball.
A number of large hotels operate by the beach, as well as plenty of rent-rooms and tavernas nearby. Continuing to the east, the following beach is Koutsounari.
