Korfos is located south of the harbour Karave (2 km away). It has a beautiful pebble beach and offers basic facilities such as restaurants and rooms. It is therefore preferred by those who want to enjoy a relaxing holiday but do not like the idea of free camping.
Near the beach have been made finds of the Late Minoan period. Also nearby is the chapel of Agios Giorgios.
You can reach Korfos on foot from the ferry-boat, or take the local bus.
