Meakis beach, close to Arvi, is beautiful and quiet, with sand, a few pebbles and blue waters. It is not developed, and no umbrellas or other amenities are to be found.
Rent-rooms exist at Arvi, and a taverna at the nearby village of Trochaloi. It is from here that you may approach the beach, either on foot or by driving along the dirt-road that starts there.
About a kilometer to the east of Meakis is Arvi itself, which has a small port and a lovely beach.
