Archaeological Museum of Archanes

In the Archaeological Museum of Archanes one can mainly see stone and ceramic artefacts,as well as exact copies of famous finds from Archanes and Yuktas, which are undoubtedly counted among the most important archaeological sites of Crete. Most of the finds from these sites are housed in the Archaeological Museum of Heraklion. However, the resourceful way of displaying the exhibits in the Museum of Archanes, helps visitors gain a good insight into life on Minoan Crete.
