European E4 Path

The Cretan segment of the E4 starts at Kasteli of Kissamos, runs south to Elafonisi, then west-east all along Crete (twice it splits into two sections before rejoining) to Kato Zakro, where it turns north again to end in the area of Siteia.

The E4 of Crete consists of 91 different hiking trails of different types and difficulty levels. Some parts are alpine in character, other follow the coastline or run through the hinterland of Crete. Use the map and the navigation arrows below to see all E4 trails in Crete
