A meeting of the members of e-paithros cluster based in the Regional Unit of Heraklion was held at the offices of the Educational Development Ploigos on Tuesday, March 15, 2022.

The main topics of discussion were the next steps of the cluster as well as the provision of services to members. At the same time, it was decided the construction of information boards in the form of braille reading while the platform and the website of the network were presented.

On Monday, February 28, 2022, an information meeting of the cluster members based in the Regional Unit of Rethymno took place in Rethymno, at the “Place of the Shepherd” in Anogia.

During the meeting, the platform and the website of the network were presented to the members, while among the topics discussed were the provision of offers for the members of the network, the construction of information boards in the form of braille reading as well as the services provided to the members.

On Monday February 28, 2022 an information meeting of the cluster members of the Regional Unit of Chania was held in Chania, at the office of the Management Body of the Samaria National Park.

On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, the research on the needs of rural tourism businesses was presented to the members of e-paithros cluster.

Due to the conditions and restrictions of COVID-19, the presentation was held online by the scientific director of the research, Mrs. Georgia Zouni, PhD Tourism Marketing at the University of Piraeus.

The online seminar “From Accommodation to Activity” was held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 for the members of e-paithros cluster.

The lecturer was Mr. Dimitris Gousios, PhD in Geography and Spatial Planning at the University of Thessaly.

On Wednesday, January 20, 2021, an online seminar was held for the members of e-paithros cluster on “The Institutional Framework for the protection of the Countryside” with Mr. George Sbokos, Lawyer and coordinator of the LIFE NATURA THEMIS program.

Mr. Sbokos spoke about the fact that rural tourism is the opposite of the “tourism industry”, while he referred, among other things, to the tourism policy at international, European and national level, land uses and the holistic assessment of the impact of the energy projects and how rural businesses can become part of the solution.

An online seminar on “The new Landscape for agritourism entrepreneurship and catering during and after the Pandemic” was organized on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 for the members of e-paithros cluster. The lecturer of the seminar was Mrs. Georgia Zouni, PhD Tourism Marketing at the University of Piraeus.

Ms. Zouni referred, among other things, to the changes in the behavior of tourists due to the pandemic as well as to the continuous effort of companies to optimize the tourist experience.
